Valencia City The City comprises 31 barangays. Barangay Poblacion, which is the seat of the City of Malaybalay

Climate
The climate condition of Valencia holds under the third intermediate Type A with rainy season from June-December. Its average monthly rainfall is 190.60 mm.

Language
''Bisaya'' is the main language of the natives although residents of some barangays also speak Ilonggo. English and Tagalog are spoken and understood by majority of people in the City.

Economy and Tourism
There are wide range of Industries settled in the City but Agriculture and Enterprises are the leading means of income.Fields are composed of rice,corn, banana coffee,cacao ,sugarcane and root Crops for farming.
It has scenic view of magnificent lakes,waterfalls,caves,springs and mountain overviews that attracts tourist particularly the locals.

Food
Bananas and Pineapples are abundant and so its cheaper over here.

There is ample quantity of cheap vegetables and fish at the market too but"Lechon Baboy" is the favorite of many and is the main dish during occasions.

My Favorite Spots..

Lake Apo
This is recognized to be the cleanest and greenest inland body of water in Northern Mindanao.When we had tree planting way back in College,I was greatly amazed with this attractive scenery I have discovered.The place is visitor friendly and I felt like diving into the water any minute.The entire place was just fantastic that's why Government agencies are finding more ways to preserve its beauty.

The lake is a perfect escape from the pressures of work and worries in life owing to its picturesque surrounding hills and mountains and its blue green waters that abound with fish not yet touched by the ill effects of pollution, It is 11 kms. away from Barangay Poblacion. The inherent beauty of Lake Apo with an area of 24 has. and 85 ft. deep, strongly suggests a tourist destination from all walks of life.

Musuan Peak
Located outside Valencia but you can get here for 5 minutes by jeepney.This is the favorite hill of locals to go on mountain climbing specially during Lenten Season.
On the way up,you can pass through the awesome view of cows within a vast field.Just across the highway is the dairy farm where they produce the best chocomilk in town.

Mt.Kitanglad
Is located outside Valencia but just one hour away through Bus.This have become the most famous mountain in Bukidnon being featured with magazines and sports-oriented show with this astonishing scenery when your on top and its a good site for hiking.
